Rental Requirements:

All renters must be able to provide the following -
       • Valid driver's license
       • Passport copy with visa page
       • Authorized credit card (Note: A credit card imprint will be taken and security amounts will blocked upon
             pick-up of the vehicle as a security.)

 

 
  Age: Renters must be 25 years old at the time of rental.

 
 Driving license: All drivers must carry a locally accepted driving license. Omani Residents with licenses that have completed 1 year from the date of issue will be permitted to rent the vehicles. Visitors must carry the original copy of the International Driving License at the time of hiring the vehicle.

 
 Fuel: We provide a full fuel tank with the vehicle. In case, the vehicle is returned with less fuel, refueling charges will apply.

 
  Accidents: In the occurrence of accidents or damage to the vehicle, you must notify the police. A police report is mandatory in such cases, failing which you will be held responsible for the entire cost of damage to the vehicle.

 
  Insurance Excess: The customer will be responsible to settle the Insurance Excess or deductible amount listed on the Vehicle Hire Agreement in the event of any damage or loss (including fire and theft) caused to the vehicle unless it is used, operated or driven in conformity with the Vehicle Hire Agreement. A valid police report is mandatory.

 
  Collision Damage   
  Waiver (CDW):		 It is an optional waiver of the client's responsibility to pay for damages to or loss of use and any related costs and expenses resulting from any collision or damage to the rented vehicle. The waiver can be purchased at the commencement of the rental and will apply only when listed as an extra charge on the Vehicle Hire Agreement and when supported by a valid police report. If a hirer does not produce an original police report, he/she will be responsible for all repair costs and damages including third party costs.
 
  Personal Accident
  Insurance: 		This can be purchased at an additional cost at the time of hiring. *Conditions Apply

 
  Hit and Run Policy: If the renter has an accident and obtains a hit and run police report, whether it is his fault or not, he is liable to pay Arabia Cars Rent A Car half the amount of insurance excess listed on the Vehicle Hire agreement. If the client opts for CDW, this clause does not apply. Police report is a must.
 
  UAE Insurance: If the hirer is travelling to UAE, he needs to collect UAE Insurance Certificate from any of the Arabia Cars branches in the Sultanate. Charges may vary based on the vehicles, usage period inside the UAE border.
  Additional Drivers: You may add an extra driver at no extra cost, provided that they meet all necessary requirements.
 
  Traffic violations: Drivers are expected to abide with the traffic rules and regulations. For every traffic fine incurred you will be charged 10% extra to cover administration charges.

 
  Delivery & Collection: For your convenience we can deliver and collect your vehicles right at your doorstep for a charge of RO. 5/- per way.

 
  Payments: Clients have the option to pay in cash or credit for their rental. (Note: Credit card is required for security at the time of booking, whether hired on cash or credit basis). Debit cards are not accepted as a security.

 
  Airport Charges: All vehicles off hired in our airport will be charged an airport parking fee. If you wish to avoid these parking fees, rented vehicles can be returned to any branch location between 0800H to 1700H (Saturday to Thursday).
